It’s going to be a boy! According to People.com, expectant mom Jill Duggar Dillard, 23, and her hubby Derick, “are expecting a son in the spring.”
Derick, 25, told People.com, “As a new dad, to have a firstborn son to be our first child and be the leader of his siblings, it is very special.”
Of course, Jill’s pregnancy was announced just two months after sharing her first kiss with Derick on her June 21st wedding day, and since then, we’ve learned that the mama-to-be experienced morning sickness, craved sour foods, hopes to have a home birth…and was planning a gender reveal all along!
Jill tells People.com that she thought she was carrying a girl, but her parents and grandma all thought it was a boy. Guess Mama Michelle knows something about guessing baby’s gender! And now, they can start narrowing down baby names…

Blake Lively may be trying to follow in the footsteps of Gwyneth Paltrow by adding “founder of a lifestyle blog” to her title—but now she’s following in the GOOP actress’s footsteps in another way: she’s starting a family!
Yep, 27-year-old Lively and her hubby, actor Ryan Reynolds, 37, are expecting their first child together! Lively shared the news on her website, Preserve, in a pretty low-key way: A family-centered post featuring a pretty baby shower celebration for expecting moms ended with one very special photo—a shot of Lively caressing her very own baby bump. See it here!
Lively has been open about her desire to start a family and her desire to have lots and lots of kids, so we’re thrilled for the couple. Congrats!

Stop the world: Kate Middleton and Prince William are expecting again! The pregnancy—probably the second-most anticipated ever (after her first, of course)—was confirmed this morning by an official palace announcement.
Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their second child.
The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news.
As with her first pregnancy, The Duchess is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum. Her Royal Highness will no longer accompany The Duke of Cambridge on their planned engagement in Oxford today. The Duchess of Cambridge is being treated by doctors at Kensington Palace.
Poor Kate! The Duchess’ awful morning sickness with Prince George was well-documented, and it’s a huge bummer for her that it’s back again. (Pregnancy symptoms can be different with second pregnancies, after all.)
No word on when Prince George will officially become a big brother, but according to People.com, Kate is “believed to be fewer than three months pregnant.”
We hope Kate feels better soon, and are so excited that Prince George is going to be a big brother! Congrats to the Royal family!

Well, that was fast! 19 Kids and Counting star Jill Duggar, who married Derick Dillard on June 21st (and shared her first kiss with him on that day, as well!) is pregnant! As Us Weekly reported, TLC confirmed the news yesterday.
It’s exciting news for the newlyweds—although we’re guessing that the experience of pregnancy and parenthood won’t be a huge surprise for Jill. After all, the 23-year-old is one of the older Duggar kids, so she’s had lots of experience with baby siblings, and she’s also an aunt: Big brother Josh and his wife, Anna, have three kids of their own (all with names beginning with the letter “M” by the way.)
And Jill and Derick, 25, have already said they would be perfectly happy to follow the Duggar family path to parenthood. Even before they were married, Jill told ABC News back in April that “Both of us want as many kids as God will give us. My parents have kept popping them out so we’ll see how [our] fertility is!”
Check out the adorable photos Jill and Derick shared to break the news:
Congratulations to the newly expecting newlyweds!
