Lost Tooth

Wednesday, July 30th, 2014

When one of my daughter’s teeth fell out, she accidentally dropped it on the floor and the dog, Casper, ate it. She asked me if we could write the Tooth Fairy a note explaining, “Dear Tooth Fairy, the dog ate my tooth but we’re going to look for it in the yard after Casper eats and poops.”

Tooth Confessions

Thursday, March 27th, 2014

My daughter was “polishing” her recently lost tooth before bedtime when she accidentally dropped it down the drain. She came to me sobbing, so I told her to leave the Tooth Fairy a note explaining what happened. As I tucked her in, she let me see the note under her pillow. It read, “Sorry no tooth.”

When my daughter asked if the Tooth Fairy was real, I confessed that it was really me. Her eyes got wide. She asked, “How do you fly around and get into other peoples’ homes?”
