Drink Up!

Thursday, September 18th, 2014

While preparing my sons for their first dinner in a nice restaurant, I explained that they could have a fancy drink called a “kiddie cocktail.”  The boys couldn’t wait to try it. When the waitress asked them what they would like, they both responded, “That cat drink.”

Food Frustration

Wednesday, August 27th, 2014

My daughter was frustrated because she couldn’t get her corn to stay on her fork long enough to make it to her mouth.  Finally, she picked up some corn with her fingers, threw it on the fork, and said, “Hang on, guys!”

Eat Dessert First

Tuesday, May 6th, 2014

We were getting ready to sit down for dinner when my son discovered a lollipop on my dresser. I told him that it was time to eat and he would need to find a good place to put the lollipop until afterward. He thought for a minute and then said, “I know!  I can put it in my mouth!”

During dinner, I asked my son if he wanted a bottle of water. He replied, “Yeah, I want a bottle of water that’s made out of juice.”
