Caught in the Act

Friday, January 17th, 2014

After a rough shopping trip with my husband, our son sat down to eat. I casually said, “So, I heard you were screaming and crying at the store today.” He dropped his fork, looked up at me with huge eyes and exclaimed, “You heard me all the way from here?”

Waiting Patiently

Thursday, January 16th, 2014

I was at the library with my son, and he had been playing with toys for a while. I asked if he was ready to check out his books and go. He replied, “No Mommy, I’m still playing.” About two minutes later, he looked up at me and said, “Good job being patient, Mommy! Good job!”

Keeping Quiet

Tuesday, December 3rd, 2013

My son said something that I could not understand, so I asked him to repeat it. He responded, “Don’t listen to me. I have bad words in my mouth.”

Note to Teacher

apology letter from student to teacherDear Mrs. WB,

I do apologize for the way I have acted today. I drank a little (Mountain) Dew this morning. We got a puppy last night. I was flabbergasted, so I’m a little hyper this morning.

Sorry!
