Spelling Whiz

Thursday, July 3rd, 2014

My daughter was talking to her friend. He was explaining how he was writing “D-A-D-D-Y” because that is how his father’s name is spelled. Elise’s eyes opened wide as she exclaimed, “That’s my daddy’s name too!”

Look Out

Wednesday, April 30th, 2014

While driving down the road, my son asked what the different road signs meant. I explained that the sign with the deer meant to watch for deer crossing the road and the sign with the tractor meant to watch for tractors crossing the road. When we passed a no parking sign, my son yelled out, “Watch out for the letters crossing the road, Daddy!”
