Morning Kisses

Monday, October 28th, 2013

One morning after I gave my 4 year old son, Connor, a kiss on the cheek, I caught him wiping it off. When I called him on it, he said, “I am not wiping it off. I am rubbing it in. It was not in deep enough.”

Under the Sea

Friday, October 25th, 2013

I told my daughter that if you put a big shell up to your ear you can hear the ocean. Within seconds she had called the entire family around her to announce that she had The Little Mermaid on the “shell phone.” With us all gathered around she said, “Hold on Ariel, let me put you on speaker.” She pushed a spot on the shell and laid it flat in her palm for us all to talk!

Hush Little Baby

Thursday, October 17th, 2013

boy covering earsAfter looking forward to the birth of his new baby brother, my son was very upset when he realized how loud the baby was. When he was trying to watch his favorite cartoon but not able to hear it over his brother’s screams, Cody asked, “Can we put the baby back in your belly? He was quieter there!”
