Telling Time

Friday, September 12th, 2014

One morning after a bad storm, I had to re-program all the clocks in our house. My 5-year-old asked what the difference was between a.m. and p.m. Before I had a chance to explain, my 3-year-old answered, “p.m. is when God shuts off the lights in outer space!”

We were bringing my son to a car show. When my husband was purchasing the tickets, he said to  the cashier, “Two adults and he’s free,” pointing to our son. Joshua piped up indignantly and said, “Daddy I’m not three. I’m four!”

We took our son to Disneyland for his birthday. Upon exiting the Pirates of the Caribbean ride he proclaimed, “Mama, those pirates need a time-out!”

We were watching a parade and there were dogs everywhere. My son was saying, “Puppy!’ to them all. Then, a pomeranian walked by and my son said, “Kitty!”
