Q: I got a yoga videotape for Christmas. (Guess my hubby is giving me a hint.) Is that enough exercise to produce weight loss, or do I still need to do aerobic work?
A: Yoga is such a great way to shape, tone, and strengthen your entire body, as well as to de-stress and calm your mind. It's the perfect complement to cardiovascular training. But they need to be done together for the best results. Just add some brisk walking, swimming, cycling or other cardiovascular activity to your routine and you should be set.
