Is there any way ask the author a question? I would like to know how these lists are determined on Parents.com. There is never any background on how these items were picked. Was there testing done like Consumer Reports does? I seem to doubt it. Honestly it seems like either these lists are generated based on ad revenue or just random opinions. Can anyone shed any light on this?

This surprises me! We bought the Combi Pod Bouncer, mostly for it's sophisticated look, and neither of my babies liked sitting in it. I wish I'd bought a less expensive bouncer with a musical or light toy on it.
