The high-low style megastore now has upscale names in kid gear too.
You already know that Target's the place to go for all your baby basics, from bottles to binkies. Over the past couple of years, however, the superstore has become the spot to shop for the trendiest names in baby gear too -- even the brands the celebs love. From the just-for-Target DwellStudio line to chic brands otherwise available at pricey boutiques, check out a few of the currently available kid lines that we think, um, hit a bull's eye.
- DwellStudio for Target: Finally -- you can get your hands on Dwell bedding without blowing your entire nursery budget. The chic home furnishings company (their "dots" linen line is a super-mod classic) has created a line for Target that includes amazing crib sets, blankets, furniture, and more to deck out your kid's room. Our fave: The gender-neutral "Circles" bedding, which will run you $79.99 (compared to the $350+ sets in their higher-end line).
- Spark by Skip*Hop: The maker of sleek shoulder-to-stroller diaper bags comes to Target with bags and changing wallets in cool patterns as well as Daddy-friendly basic black. The Target line costs less than half what the regular line does. Wallets are $16.99 and bags are $29.99.
- Boon: The why-didn't-we-think-of-that? line of boutique-y kids' products is now also at Target. We love the well-designed eating utensils, including a bowl with a huge catch-all lip for messy eaters, and the genius animal storage and seating bags (a beanbag-style chair that you stash stuffed animals in). Products start at $4.99.
- Peanut Shell and Hotslings: Free up your hands -- and express yourself with a slew of funky patterns. Peanut Shell and Hotslings are some of the coolest-looking carriers on the market (and Keri Russell has been spotted using her Peanut Shell). They are available at Target for a little less than you'll pay elsewhere, starting at $39.99.
