But like my sons, Their father was never diagnosed with it, He was born in the 80's and they didn't actually have technology on there side to find these kinds of problems. But his mother verified that he and his brother had the same symptoms. So, Please have your child checked. And if your infnt does throw up, Keep a close eye on him/her. It is very easy for anyone of any age to suffocate in there own vomit.

It somewhat diffucult to actually feel it. My sons was huge. That is the only way the Ped found it. Nearly all cases of P.S. are found only through Ultra Sound. So if your child has symptoms. STRESS STRESS STRESS to your childs Ped.Pyloric Stynosis is commonly founy found in male infants under 6 months. Most male infants whom have it, have recieved it from the father whom also had Pyloric Stynosis.

Had I not went to the doctor that day, There is no telling what would have happened. The Ped even agreed that it was a day to day life or death chance. Had I waited even 2 days more to go to the Ped, He may not have made it. The ped said He was Litteally Starving to Death. Do not take it for granite. Have your childchecked for Pyloric Stenosis.

They kept the video and pictures for teaching. They ( his Ped and the Tech ) CORRECTLY diagnosed him Pyloric Stenosis. Alittle upset from the new news of needing surgery scared me. We were then airlifted that day Childrens. I love Childrens. They were so helpful from beginning to end. The surgery went great! It was a one hour procedure. And he got out of the hospital the 2 days after. I was amazed at the difference. He had no more vommiting. And ate like crazy.

Then less than a month later, after contiously getting worse even on medication. We went to the Ped. He had lost around 2 lbs. Which is alot for an infant. Almost a quarter of his birth weight. The Ped, was wonderful. Within minutes she diagnosed him by knowledge and a quick oush in the lower belly. She sent us over to the hospitalright then with a ultra sound scheduled. The Tech found the problem automatically, Calling my son a text book example.

When I got to his Pediatrician the morning after birth, I explained my first sons symptoms and told her my nwborn was having them. She scheduled him for an upper G I. The test came back positive for weak sphincter. Which was causing the vomitting. I took it at that and was glad to hear they had found the cause, and were sending him home with a perscription to control it.

He had the same problem Starting on day one. He ate, and about an hour or two later.PROJECTILE. I made sure the nurses were aware, and i told them my first son did the same. And asked them to please keep an eye out. I was very worried. You have the worst feeling in the world, when you see a child vomit and then choke. A new born at that. You have to watch them Extremely close.

I would like to let moms everywhere know that, If your child is vommiting up his/her feedings. Not Spitting up, but vomiting. Projectile vommitin. Do not take this Lightly. My 4 yr old did this from birth to a year always chocking on vomit. I didnt think much of it in 2006 after the doctor dismissed it. And then in September 2010 I give birth to my now 9 month old.
