Angelica
Derived from the Latin word, angelicus, meaning "angelic," but ultimately related to the Greek word, "angelos." An elaborated form of Angela that peaked on the popularity chart in 1993 and again in 1996. First Lady Angelica Van Buren from 1837 to 1841 is a notable bearer of the name, and more recently influenced by actress Angelica Bridges, the lead singer of the 2006 sultry pop group, "Strawberry Blonde." Angelica Pickles, a character from the animated television show, "Rugrats" also comes to mind.
