What Did These TV Moms Name Their Babies?

In the April issue of American Baby magazine, we asked you what the following TV moms named their babies on their hit television shows: Claire on Lost, Annabeth on Close to Home, Sydney on Alias, and Dr. Bailey on Grey's Anatomy.

Aaron of the Mysterious Island

Claire Littleton on Lost, played by Emilie de Ravin, is a young Australian who gave birth on the mysterious island to her son Aaron.

De Ravin was born December 27, 1981, and grew up in Mount Eliza, Victoria, Australia. She currently lives in California with her fiance, actor Josh Janowicz, and has no children.

Haley at Home

Annabeth Chase on Close to Home, played by Jennifer Finnigan, is a young, aggressive prosecutor who tries cases from her own neighborhood. After giving birth to daughter Haley, Chase chooses to return to work.

Finnigan, born August 22, 1979 in Montréal, is a Canadian actress known for her Emmy-winning role as Bridget Forrester on the soap-opera The Bold and the Beautiful from 2000 to 2004. She is engaged to actor Jonathan Silverman and has no children.

April Fools from Alias!

Sydney Bristow, a double agent on the spy drama Alias (played by Jennifer Garner), has yet to have her baby. Bristow became pregnant with Agent Michael Vaughn's baby last season. Update: On the series finale, there's a clip of the couple's future with their daughter Isabelle and son Jack.

Garner, born April 17, 1972 in Texas, has won the Actor Award from the Screen Actor's Guild and has been nominated for a Golden Globe and Emmy, all for her work on Alias. Producers of Alias had to work Garner's real-life pregnancy into the show. She married actor Ben Affleck on June 29, 2005, and gave birth to their daughter, Violet Anne Affleck, on December 1, 2005.

Paging William George

Dr. Miranda Bailey on Grey's Anatomy, played by Chandra Wilson, is the senior surgical resident responsible for training the team of intern doctors. On Grey's Anatomy, Dr. Bailey gave birth to her son William George Bailey Jones.

Wilson, born August 27, 1969, in Texas, is the mother of three children: Serena, Joy, and Michael. Her pregnancy with son Michael, who was born on October 31, 2005, was written into the show, after her belly bump could no longer be hidden by clipboards and files.
