In the September issue of American Baby magazine, we asked you which star didn't give his or her baby a name that begins with the letter "Z": Corey Feldman, Angelina Jolie, Samuel L. Jackson, or Kate Winslet.
Turns out that only Ms. Winslet broke the mold by naming her daughter Mia. Born in 2000, Mia was the first child for the Titanic star and her then-husband director Jim Threapleton.
Where did they come up with the name? "Kate and Jim had drawn up a list of 10 names but when the baby was born, none of them seemed right," said Winslet's agent Robert Garlock, according to Reuters.
"Then Mia came to them, and it just seemed right. There is no family significance. They just thought it was a really beautiful name."
