Updated version of the Anglo-French name, Justus. The Justus of Caterbury was a 7th century Benedictine monk and priest, who was sent into England as a missionary. In the U.S., name was used occasionally in 1882, then disappeared until 1992. Possibly influenced by baseball player, David Justice, listed among the top 500 home run hitters of all time.
