This name, the father-in-law of Moses in the Bible, is mostly associated with Jethro Clampett, the not-so-bright brother in the popular 1960s sitcom "The Beverly Hillbillies." Jethro has a cooler, less agricultural connotation, though: the popular 1970s British band Jethro Tull.
