Jacqueline
Feminine form of Jacques, the French version of James and Jacob. Existed on the popularity chart since the turn of the 19th century, but peaked at No. 37 in 1961 and 1964 due to First Lady Jacqueline "Jackie" Bouvier Kennedy. Actress and clothing designer Jaclyn Smith and actress Jacqueline Bisset helped keep the momentum going for the name's top 100 ranking during the 1960s until 2003. Ironically Bisset portrayed Jacqueline Kennedy in the 2003 movie, "America's Prince: The John F. Kennedy Jr. Story."
