My Husband and I named our son Aidan Patrick Shannon. We love that it went with our last name which is Irish Like my husband. We decided to go all Irish. I also hate that it became so common. We decide to use the original spelling of the name and people always spell it wrong. It bothers me!!!!

If i had had any idea how popular the name would become i may have changed my mind. Even the unique spelling, isn't unique anymore. It's kinda sad.

7/12/2011 01:53:35 PM Report AbuseMy 4 1/2 yr old son's name is Aidyn Blaine .. at the time that we came across the name it was only spelled a couple ways so me and his mother decided to use the spelling AIDYN instead.. His name fits him perfectly!
