Volkswagen Tiguan Vehicles Recalled

Date:
November 14, 2013
Category:
Cars
Company/Brand:
Volkswagen of America, Inc.
The Danger:
In isolated cases, a fuse may trip in the Tiguan, thus resulting in failure of one of the two vehicle light circuits. This in turn causes individual light functions to fail. However, the vehicle's electric circuitry ensures that some lights remain on all around the vehicle. There have been no crashes or injuries reported regarding this issue.
Description:
The recall includes approximately 62,155 2009-2011 model year Volkswagen Tiguans.
Sold At:
Car dealerships nationwide.
What To Do:
Arrange for an appointment with an authorized Volkswagen dealer. Dealers will replace the existing F16 position fuse with a new, optimized hard-coated fuse.
