The Danger:
The sweatshirts have a drawstring through the hood which can pose a strangulation hazard to children.
This recall involves about 23,000 children's sweatshirts sold in sizes 4 through 7 and S (8) and M (10-12). The sweatshirts were sold in various colors and prints. The brand name Kani Gold or Road Block is printed inside of the garment on the neck tag.
Sold At:
Burlington Coat Factory stores nationwide from July 2006 through September 2009 for between $6 and $30.
What To Do:
Immediately remove the drawstrings from the sweatshirts to eliminate the hazard. You can also return the sweatshirts to Burlington Coat Factory or the Haselson for a full refund.
