What To Do:
Graco will mail instructions to correct this misrouting to all known recalled ComfortSport owners. In addition, Graco will e-mail these instructions to those consumers who provided their e-mail address to Graco. If you own but have not registered your ComfortSport car seat, call (800) 345-4109 Monday to Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET or visit www.gracobaby.com 24 hours a day to determine whether your ComfortSport car seat may be affected and to obtain instructions on how to correctly route the lower anchorage belt. When calling Graco, have the model number and date of manufacture of the car seat readily available.
Do not use the seat in the rear-facing position with LATCH until the belt routing has been inspected and, if necessary, corrected. Your car's seatbelt can be used instead of LATCH in the meantime.
If you have rerouted the lower anchorage belt according to the instruction manual for use in the forward-facing mode, you are not affected by this recall.
