The Danger:
One or more of the six screws in the handle may become loose, posing a choking hazard for children.
The recall includes 67,276 Alpha Elite and Eddie Bauer Comfort Infant Car Seats. Only those seats manufactured between July 26, 2005, and February 28, 2006, are affected. The model number and date of manufacture may be found on a sticker located on the side or back of the car seat.

Dorel will notify all registered owners. Those who have not registered their product should complete the online customer satisfaction program registration process at djgusa.com, safety1st.com, or djgusa.com/eddiebauer. You can use the car seat until you get the repair kit, but in the meantime, you should make sure the handle trim screws have not loosened. The handle trim screws do not affect the performance of the car seat in the vehicle.
