The Danger:
The seats were labeled with an incorrect telephone number for the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, which violates a federal standard.
This issue does not affect the ability of the car seat to protect children in the event of a crash.
The recall includes 121,042 Graco CarGo booster seats with the following model numbers. The number and date of manufacture can be found on a label on the lower back of the car seat:

  • 8487WBR
  • 8686ROS
  • 8689FAR
  • 8D01ZPH
  • 8D02SYC
  • 8D03WIK
  • 8D04SDN
  • 8D05NWY
  • 8D10CCE
Sold At:
Mass merchandisers, specialty retailers and department stores from January 2007 to March 2008 for about $100.
What To Do:
