Roxy Girls' Hooded Sweatshirts Recalled

August 2, 2006
The Danger:
A drawstring is threaded through the hood, posing a strangulation hazard to children.
This recall involves about 9,700 hooded sweatshirts that have a drawstring through the hood. The sweatshirts are pink, white, brown, navy, or green with a beaded heart logo and embroidered flowers on the front above the left pocket. They were sold in girls' sizes SML to XL. "ROXY GIRL" is printed on the collar label. The style number 484241 (some with an M, N, or NN after the number) is located on the sweatshirt's hangtag and/or the individual packaging label.
Sold At:
Surf and skate shops, specialty and department stores, including Macy's, Nordstrom, Quiksilver, and Roxy retail stores and outlets nationwide from November 2005 through January 2006 for about $40.
