Until what age should my children bathe together?
I have a boy and a girl who are pretty close in age. My son is 3 1/2, and my daughter is 2. I put them both in the tub for bath time, and recently I was wondering when I should start giving them separate baths. They really enjoy their time in the tub together.

It is important to establish bathtub rules from the beginning. Kids can look but not touch. It is important that children learn about “body boundaries” early on, not just for bath time but for all around safety. Generally siblings of opposite genders should start bathing separately around the age of seven or whenever they start grabbing at each other, becoming preoccupied with each others genitals during bath time, or one asks for privacy.

I still have my children bathe together and always have. I have a 13 year old girl and a 12 year old boy. Whenever the have friends spend the night, they all shower together. They really enjoy it.

My children still shower and bathe together (9b & 7g) from time2time maybe once a week!!! they love to play in there together plus they keep curtains open and Im constantly watching... the only difference is tnat now I have them keep their undies on the whole time and when is time to scrub their body I go in there and have them scrub but turn around while I rinse them off (with shower head) I guess is Ok to let them be innocent and play while keeping an eye on them and having them keep undies

We stopped giving our kids (older brother, younger sister about the same age difference as yours) baths together when my son asked to take a bath by himself. He wanted more room to play and not to have to share his bubbles. He was about 4 1/2.

I personally wouldn't give them baths together.
