Why is my baby still waking up in the middle of the night for a bottle?

My daughter is 1 year old.  She has been formula fed her whole life and she goes to bed between 7:30-8:30 each night, but she still wakes up between 1:00-3;00 am for a bottle. I've tried to let her self-soothe and have her pacifier and I've also tried feeding her solids before she goes to bed.  Nothing I try will prevent her from waking up and crying for a bottle.

Babies rarely need nighttime feedings after 6 months.  It’s important to understand that all little ones naturally awaken during the night, but I suspect that your little one is drinking from a bottle at bedtime because it's helping her fall asleep.  Therefore, make sure that your daughter is falling asleep independently at bedtime.  If you are feeding her at bedtime, gradually reduce her a bottle by an ounce per night.  Once you stop giving her a bottle at bedtime, make sure that she is put to bed awake so she can self-soothe to sleep.  You can do the same thing when she wakes up during the middle of the night.  With a bit of patience and persistence, she’ll start sleeping through the entire night.

My 10 month old is doing the same but instead of giving him a bottle, I give him a cup. I am in the works of watering the formula down to just water but it is a process. When he wakes up a second time, usually some music (I am talking Deadmou5 - nothing calm)helps him back to sleep so music may be something you can try. My only problem with doing this is that there isn't a cd player in his room, so the music comes from the surround sound system and even on a low vol - it vibrates my small house.

My daughter is 15 months and she still does. But she will scream for more than an hour if I let her not have her bottle. I can put anything in it. Milk water juice and she will take it. But she has to have it! Idl wat to do and it's so funny bc I just asked my mom about it yesterday:) but she will go to bed around 9-10 and wake up most of the time twice around 1 and again at 430. It's so hard bc I don't kno wat to do . I get so frustrated.
