When do the chances for a miscarriage decrease?

I'm in my first trimester (11 weeks).  When does my chance of miscarriage decrease?

Unfortunately, up to 30% of pregnancies end in miscarriage.  The good news is that most of these will happen in the first 8 weeks of pregnancy, and close to 95% happen in the first trimester.  So, once you reach 14 weeks, the risk of a miscarriage drops dramatically.  Additionally, once you have had a first trimester ultrasound to confirm that your fetus is the appropriate size and has a heartbeat, the risk of miscarriage drops as well.
