Dr. Wayne Fleisig

Wayne Fleisig, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist originally from New York who now resides and practices in Birmingham, Alabama.  He graduated cum laude with a B.A. from Dartmouth College; received his doctorate from the State University of New York at Albany, where he attended on a Presidential Fellowship; and completed an internship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.  He has worked at The Center for Stress and Anxiety Disorders in the Child and Adolescent Fear and Anxiety Treatment Program in Albany, New York, and at the Civitan International Research Center; was a partner at a large private practice; and currently works at the Children’s Hospital of Alabama. He was for seven years a syndicated columnist, and has appeared on television hundreds of times, both in the United States and internationally.   He works with children of all ages, and specializes in behavior problems and parenting.  He is married to a woman who is the love of his life, has two wonderful children, and, by all accounts, is a pretty swell guy.
