How much sleep does an eight-year-old need?
The majority of 8-year-olds need 10-11 hours of sleep. Figure out what time your child needs to get up in the morning for school and count backwards from there. Research shows that children this age who go to bed before 9:00 PM get more sleep and sleep better at night.
